Post Tire Question: OK I'm semi Lazy

Some months ago, someone in, I believe Texas, posted photos and specs on some tires that actually filled the wheel wells and looked pretty good to me.
As I recall, several older Lightning owners objected, but I still liked the idea. I printed the info off, but lost it.

Point of post is that I have pretty much decided to purchase my '99 when it comes off lease as my inherited '92 Town Car is growing on me as a nice boulevard cruiser for a 61 year old and I think I want to keep the L for my occasional Viagra rush needs.

As I am leasing the vehicle, I have kept most of the mods to a state of "removability" or "restorability to stock". Now, I am thinking of setting the truck up to my own personal likes and that includes some serious tall rubber to make it look more like what I want.

Anybody remember that Texas post?
Bill

Thanks, guys. That was the one and I printed if off and put it in my Moby file.
Don't need the tires yet, but know what to get now.

Cool

Bill,
I am still running the Nitto's and have since lowered my truck 3/4. It looks even better lowered, and there is no wheelwell left to fill. It's fat (not phat like the kids). Truck looks stout and mean....especially with my new Reflexions hood.

Cool

It is an understood rule on this board that you cannot tell us how cool your truck looks without posting a picture or something. So...either tell us that you were fooling or post a picture.

Lightbulb

I remember seeing an advertisment in one the the truck magazines for Toyo tires, and they build one the same size as our L's. There were no ratings with the ad, but the tires looked cool. Anybody had an experience with them?

Moonshine is currently running on Toyo tires. Pretty cool tread pattern.
