Angry Lightning withdrawls ! (life in michigan)

Being in the wonderful state of michigan i had to park my L in november. I don't have a garage at my house, so i had to store it at my parents. They live about 200 miles away, so i have not even seen it in almost 4 months now, since they are in florida. Big question is when should i go get it? I am sick of driving my beater grand prix around. I had my R-6 out a few times already. Think i should wait a few more weeks at least? I don't want it to get ****ty out again and have to sit outside.

=(

I would pick it up whenever the snow usually ends. We're pretty safe here in MD, so now I'm selling my Jeep. Anyone want to buy a 1990 Jeep Wrangler Sahara, 6cyl, 5spd., hardtop, softop, hard doors, 109k miles?

I live in Toronto,Canada...and I drive my "L" all year round, it does no harm to it... we get like 3 feet of snow a week sometimes, if the roads are plowed i'am good to go..
once again it doesn't do any harm to it..as long as you wash the salt off of it

Not to start flaming but have you ever seen a trucks undercarriage that has been through one winter compared to another that hasnt?Believe me one winter is harder on trucks undernieth than 5 years of no winters.I live right on the coast of the atlantic and no word of a lie,The vechicles that are parked within 1/4 mile from the ocean are completley rotted within 5-6 years compared to just 1 mile inland where its just typical winter weather and they slowly corrode way as bad just not as fast. There is no such thing as just washing the salt off.Its a chemical reaction and it only needs to be on there for a matter of hours to do damage.Dont try to convince me otherwise becuase...........

I took my truck out on DRY roads that were treated with salt prior about 3 times this winter. The day after i took my truck out,My wheels(chrome) already had tiny pits in them from just 1 hour of driving and 12 hours of sitting.Need less to say,I never drove my Lightning after that and I never will in the winter.

Just some facts for ya,Im not bashing but Salt does do great damage even if you try to keep up with it.

Angry

I drive my L when I can all year long but everytime I go out when it's wet I line up next to some joker in a ricer. Nothing worse then listening to a fart pipe from light to light because you can get no traction at all. Reason enough to stay out of the rain.
