Post Please say a prayer for my pals.

Saturday I was at work while it was snowing out and heard about a terrible accident closing I70 west bound. A car rolled over and the couple who were in the car made it out and were on the side of the road when some good people stopped to check on them. While standing on the side of the road a tow truck lost control and hit all five people standing there, killing the couple who had just survived a rollover, grazing 2 of the 3 people who stopped to check on the couple and throwing the third onto the highway in traffic. I found out last night the good people who stopped were my friends Sandy Johnson, Jen Lowry and their friend from another travel agency Lisa. Jen is banged up pretty good and has a concussion, Lisa should also be ok, but Sandy is in ICU. She was in surgery for 11 hours yesterday, she has several broken bones and has not regained conciousness. Please, say a prayer and hug your friends.

I hope your friends are okay. That's harsh how fate plays out. My prayers are with your friends and the families of all who were involved and hurt.

My thoughts and prayers are with all of you. I don't know what to say, that was a terrible chain of events for that couple, and for your friends for being good people and trying to help. The outcome of that accident has affected lots of people. I really hope your friend Sandy pulls through. Just keep praying..

CA,
I saw that on the news the other night and I almost got sick when I heard about that. I have never the weather change as quickly as it does here (except Cheyenne). Just today it was sunny at 10:30 then at 10:35 it looked like a blizzard outside! Then 15 minutes later it was sunny again! My prayers are with your friends, everybody drive safe out their!

My prayers are with them too, and a special extra prayer for Sandy who is in ICU, hopping she makes a full recovery.

Thanks for the prayers. Sandy is still in ICU but showing signs of improvement. They said there was a little more internal damage than they had anticipated, but she is pulling though and they are saying it will be a long road but they are giving her 90% recovery. She is strong and stubborn and I am sure she is up for the challenge. Again thanks for the thoughts. I sent her this page to make her smile and I am sure she is appreciative. Her travel agency has taken on costs of 6 months of back and forth travel so her family can be with her as well as set up a blood drive in her name that has spread to 4 other agencies (including mine) that I know of. Her co workers are donating sick time to her so that she is taken care of financially while she is down and as a good gesture. Jen's agency has also taken the liberty of flying her mom out from Boston to be with her. Lisa's family is here in Denver. I'll let you guys know if anything should change, but please keep praying, and keep hugging your friends.
*Hugs*

CA! I'm so sorry to hear the news I'll put a special request in my prayers also (yes, believe it or not, I DO pray). I hope all of them have a speedy recovery.

I'd hug you if I could reach.

your friend
