More steigemier porting results

LONG POST WARNING! I know there has been an ongoing debate on the effectives of porting the Eaton. I just wanted everyone to know how my experience went. I took my truck back to swanson so they could check out the miss in my truck. Apparently it was running to lean at low speeds and making it run rough. Coil packs never acted up. After that was cleared up the tuning started. Im very happy with the results. Before the port, peak rwhp was 389 and torque was 467. I know a pic would be easier but here it goes. :-)After the port (and a cleaned ic) the peak rwhp is 417(416.7) rwhp and torque is 488. At 3500 rpm hp was up between 10 to 15 hp and went up from there. The rwtq was peaked at 3500 rpm, but by 5000 rpm the ported torque was still at about 440 and the unported torque had dropped down to 400. At 4500 rpm rwtq was up about 40 all the way to redline (5500) The peak torque #s were at about the same rpm but the curve is less peaky now. The peak hp is about 200 rpm higher at about 5000 rpm. All #s sae. conditions were ideal in the shop. The port job was a stage IV. Mods 4 lb. pulley, lfp tb and plenum, electric fan, 160 thermostat. aem air intake.
