Lowering Shakle Question

what should i lower my truck 2" with? any one have any pic's they would like to share of there truck and kind they used?

I just found out today that my 03 stock Lightning that i've had for three months was in an accedent that was not on the Carfax. The dealer said it was never been in an accedent. The rear shakles are shot from accedent and i wanted to lower the rear 2" anyway. What do i need to get and what brand should i use? Can anyone point me in the right direction?
Thanks

2" Shackles will only drop it like 1-1/2" so you prob want 3" Shackles for an 03
Everyone has them and it's an extremely easy install, (like 10 minutes on a lift, maybe 20-30 on the floor) I've done it numerous times and it's straight foward with no surprises...

i installed them on my own. they are really easy took me about 45 min and most of it was trying to find the right tools. its just two bolts you take off of the original shackle and put the new one in its place. once i did the first one the other side took me like 10 minutes.

I just did mine last night. I have Belltech 2" drop on my Lariat. Drivers side was easy, passenger side was pita. I could not get the lower bolt lined up. Took 40 minutes, lots of swearing, a bruise on my forhead from beating my head against the rear bumper and a big hammer. So, it was a typical install for me. Sure yours will be hassle free though.
