Attn 1999 and 2000 12 sec L owners
I understand where you are coming from. I finally got into the 12's Saturday at Kinston Drag Strip, 12.994 @ 104.947 with a 1.957 60ft. Came home and saw Flying Dutchman's post and sat there speechless. I'm just happy knowing there is a lot left in these trucks. I believe it will all balance out with the mods.

Hey HILANDER, I bought my 2000 L at Heritage Ford in orwigsburg PA. just outside of allentown. I had a choice of 4 L's and ended up buying the fastest one which was the red one. I bought my red 95 L there and know the sales manager that is why I was able to test drive all their lightnings. later95rcobra.
I don't think there is much to worry about for the 99 and 00 Lightning owners. Once both trucks are modded equally they will run about the same. The 01 Lightnings just have more mods to start off with. Look at JL running 12.0's in his 99 with just bolt ons. 11's are right down the road. Any faster than that and we'll need roll bars anyway. ;-)
