Question Question about bed alignment.

I went to loosen all the bolts in the bed. I got it to move about three quarters of an inch, Maybe an inch back and forth and side to side.Is that all the movement I can expect. I mean it is close not perfect. Thanks. Bob.

I had a 2000 supercab on which the bed was seriously out of alignment with the cab. When the dealership tried to align the bed, in order to get a perfect alignment they also had to realign the cab on the frame. That required pulling seat and carpet. Build quality #1.

Question

dogman-
How happy are you with your SnugTop? Would you buy it again over the other tonneau covers available?
Thanks

Bob a inch is about it, my 99 f150 was off a bit to, and a inch was all I could move it, luckally that was all it neaded.

How close did you get it? Because like dogman said if you need more aligning the cab is prob your only other option. If it is close you might just want to leave it that way. I guess I got lucky my new L lines up perfect

Matt, I like the streamlined look of the snugtop. But right now I am waiting for a new one from the factory. The right rear edge of the lid was shaved crooked. It also didn't match, but I think silver might be a tougher color to match well. I should have the new one this week and I will let you know. I did a search on the site and looked at pictures and descriptions of the various hard tonneau covers people had purchased. The major brands all seem to be of high quality. I just tend to be a bit of a perfectionist.
