Question SplitFire Plug #'s

Had post as to which Plugs to get and have
coupon for $1.00 off, but can''t find the print out anywhere on this messy desk. Can someone post those numbers so I can start
the 2 hour job?

Cool

I just pulled my Splitfires out to test the Autolite 103. I had 8,000 miles on my Splits and they still looked great. I checked the electrodes and they were solid as a rock. I still can't figure out what happened to High Rollers.

I thought this would be a good time to do this since the chip is out being reburned for the 90mm MAF. It's easier to tell differences running almost stock.

The Autolites burn almost identical to the Splits between a dark and regular tan color. The first thing I noticed was the added jump going into the throttle left with the Splits. The Autolites are a little flatter going into the throttle just like the stock plugs. The plugs overall run great but you lose the added throttle response the Splits give you. So much for that placebo effect theory with new plugs. I would say with a chip the difference would not be as noticable but without you can tell it.

The difference in price is $8.00 for Autolites vs. $32.00 for the Splitfires. If I were running stock all the time the Splits are definitly worth the difference. I will have to get my chip back in to be able to tell you if it's worth the difference with a chip.
