Post electric fans and horsepower

how much horsepower does an electric fan free up.some have said as much as 12 to 15 but i have my doubts its that high.

Don't doubt it. It all really depends on how effecient the clutch fan is,to wether or not theres that much of a gain. I've used electric fans on every rod I've owned and they all were benificial. I plan on going to a electric fan on my Lightning as my next mod. Hope that helps man. Thanks Mike

Mike - I may be interested in doing the fan thing myself. I'd like some help on fan size, schematics, etc... Think maybe I can drive over to Tyler and get some help with the installation?

sixpipes...PSP has the whole thing made up in a new shroud if your interested.

Hey Sixpipes,KGM is right on PSP having a kit already. I'm actually going to do the same thing and save a few bucks.It'll be a few weeks before I get around to it as I'm in the process of building me a small shop and thats taking up my weekend time. If you want I'll let you know ahead of time and you can come check it out while I'm installing it??
