i didn't mean you exactly...

all I can say is my first child was born in 2001.. she died at 6 months of age.. on August 11th 2001... from "health" problems.. she was born with a cholesterol deficiency syndrom...

anyways... here it is 2007 and in march I found my truck....
2 weeks after i bought it... I called up SVT for the build information.. and I about shat myself.. it was built August 11th 2001..

so I WILL NEVER EVER EVER EVER sell this truck... near death or not... it will never happen...

I was in no way shape or form degrading your situation.. I was generally speaking by saying that everybody and their mother is selling there L for some reason or another... IT breaks my heart every time one is sold.. because this truck is destin to eventually start appreciating in value.. in 15-20 years of course...

to me.. its the odl dudes corvette... only i'm not compensating for anything.. HAHAHAHa

Sorry to hear your health problems hinder you from enjoying certain things..

and I apologize if I came off sounding like an ****....

So what about the build date being Aug 11,2001 made you almost crap yourself? Because it was built a month before 9-11?

the only health issue that would make me not drive or keep my truck is DEATH... Even blindness would not make me sell it... I would give it to my son then...

everything else does not make driving the L impossible...

hmph

Art....
My phone number has changed. I will PM it to you. BTW...you haven't let me see the new ride yet.

As for the L selling....doesn't appear that anyone is able to sell theirs lately. I mean...My L is immaculate....and am VERY flexiable on the price and still no takers. Weird. It's not that I need the money (already paid it off). It's just that I would rather see someone enjoying it rather than it sitting in my driveway.

OK - I'll admit it: I don't understand how anyone selling whatever vehicle they may have "de-values" your vehicle ?

The "de-value" happened the second it was titled... and it has depreciated every day since.

It will be a long, long time before these trucks appreciate - if they ever do.

On another note :

Hey Chad, take care and keep us updated. You'll be better in no time !!!

BTW - Art's car is slower than your truck (in a standing start straight line run that is)...
