Exclamation GRRR! Need Help!

The Ford Dearlership that is supposed to be repairing my trans hooked a computer to my truck and noticed an "unknown program". They called and left a message with my wife stating they were not going to cover my trans under warranty b/c they think I have had a chip in my truck!!! I did not get a chance to talk to them yet. Looks as if I am going to have to put the SMACKDOWN on someone! I am SO FURIOUS!!!

Well, I get a phone call today around 3:30-4:00 p.m. from the Ford guys to let me know my trans is shot...um, ok, I told you that LAST MONDAY (2-26). The good news is they are just dropping mine out and putting a new one in. So, I should be stylin' again by the latter part of next week. Three weeks just to replace the trans, two of those just getting a new pcm and getting my keys to work with it. Oh well, at least I have a Dodge truck to thrash, I mean "drive" while I wait. Which, by the way, is one of the most uncomfortable vehicle I have ever driven.

Say buddy, what was wrong with your tranny? The symptoms I mean? Mines done a strange slip and slide once 3rd is in gear. AFTER the shift. Takes about 1.5 seconds to fully slide into full engagement. Typical???

No. Mine had no slpping or other symptoms. I attempted to get mine to kick down to 2nd from drive to get out of the way of on-coming traffic and it went all the way to first. My 2nd gear is shot. It shifted from 1st to drive after this happened. It would just slip in 2nd if I manually put it there.
