Post 20X9 CHROME LIGHTNING WHEEL ORDERS

Hello Members, First I would like to thank everyone who put in orders for the 20x9 chrome lightning wheels. I expected to do 15 to 20 orders with the discount but as of today there was 40 sets of 20 inchers ordered. Great Response. Anyway I spoke to Terry about an hour ago and he told me that the wheels should be coming into his store in the next 2 weeks and will start to be shipped out near the end of march. Just can't wait for those 20 inch beauties. He also told me that if anybody wants 18x9 lightning or 95-2000R model wheels he would give nice club discounts. I just bought a set of 17x9 chrome cobra r wheels for my 95r. thanks again 95rcobra.

95Cobra, Are the 20x9 inch Rims you have ordered high quality? Are they made in a Foriegn Country? Are they a cheap imitation? Sorry, I really want to order a set but cannot truly believe how inexpensive they are selling the 20 inch rims for. Please let me know what you think. Thanks, DJY

KGM, No I live in Hawaii! Do you consider that a Foriegn Country! I was thinking of Taiwan or China where they use poor metal for auto parts! Sorry, I just want to know more about the rims before I order them. I guess, I'll wait and see what others who have ordered the rims have to say about them.

DJY, I am told by Terry the owner of Classic Wheel workz that they are a high quality casting that pass california's standards for wheel manufacturing. But do not take my word for it. you can call Terry at 626-914-7725 and ask him anything about the wheels. he will be happy to help you out. I will be getting a set of chrome 95r wheels in the next week or so from the same manufacturer so I will see first hand the quality. Fords oem wheels for the 95r are made overseas. they say it is japan but I seriously doubt that. It is probably china or taiwan. I doubt you will find many Ford factory rims that are manufactured in the USA. later 95rcobra.

DJY, If you were trying to get Classic from the phone # in the magazine ads that line was only connected in the beginning of March. the phone # that I put in the post above has always been answered without any problems. Terry is at his shop from around 8:30 am to 5pm west coast time. good luck. 95rcobra.
