I just lucked into a new, fresh off the truck, 01 black Lightning that was not pre-sold by the dealer. I'm 64 years old and this really helps pump my blood. I had a Lunar lighted visor installed and it really looks good. Has anyone installed any type of step boards on a Lightning? My legs are short and i have some problem getting in the cab. I think the flairing around the bottom may not allow a installation without cutting?? Appreciate any info.

if you have trouble getting in, may i suggest lowering the truck?
it would look a lot better than running boards.
