Unfortunately I was stupid enough(and under the influence of alcohol) to allow a girl(sober, she never drinks) drive my Lightning yesterday. It was about 5:30am and we were headed to her house. She decided she want to see how fast the truck was and she got on it a little. The tires started to break loose and she freaked out and lost control. We slammed into a cement wall along side of the road and wrecked my truck, the wall, and two other vehicles on the opposite side of the wall. Right now i'm still in a daze. I'm just glad we're alive and only suffered minor injuries. Here are some photo's of my truck:

Things That Have Gone Wrong So Far:
Burnt Anti-Freeze Smell
The Anti-Freeze seems to leaking but the fluid level hasn't gone done any
This has Caused a Coil to go out
The passenger side Door-Lock went out
The driver side Door-Lock went out
Muth Signal Mirrors Reflective Backing Cracked All To Hell

Fixed under warranty: Coil, Passenger Side Door-Lock
Will be Fixed under warranty: Driver Side Door-Lock, Muth Signal Mirrors
(Wonder what the Ford House will say when I show up with a Lincoln Truck for warranty work)

Can't FInd The Anti-Freeze Leak (?)
Tried putting in AlumniSeal and hasn't got hot enough to see if it still has the
Burnt Anit-Freeze Smell

 

The main thing is that you and everyone else involved is ok. And you must be a good spirited person, b/c if you were any of those people in the pictures, you had a smile on your face. Sorry to hear about the truck though. Damn... that's like the only thing that comes to mind. I put one of the pictures on my desktop to remind me daily not to f#ck up, and let someone else drive. And if someone HAS to drive me L, to interigate them to see if they can handle it, and the PROPER way to drive it when I'm not around. SLOWLY!!!

I know what you are thinking and you are right. It has nothing to due with the fact that it was a girl driving. It has to due to the fact that an inexperienced driver was driving. I'm just upset right now.

 

That wasnt a nice statement. To be politically correct you should have stated " Dont let anyone who isnt familar with horse power drive your lightning" I let a guy drive my incon twin turbo 93 lx and he flipped it..but i wasnt as lucky as you, i had 2 disc and a vertabrae removed...a cadavor bone fused in and all of that screwed together with a titanium plate and bolts. I learned my lesson the hard way. If the person isnt capable of driving your vehicle take a taxi. On a side note i have nmra pics and videos on our site.
