:( Poor trucks...
Didn't look like anyone was seriously hurt (?) but feel bad for the trucks.

The other truck was a guy named Jeff Yeager, he goes by Yeager on NLOC. Both very quick trucks. We've kinda stepped up on NLOC and some people are offering any spare parts they have to the guys if they need them. From what I read Franks truck leaked some oil out of the oil filter somehow because they found part of the gasket pushed out, and that was the result. What is weird is that on that run Frank had his best 60' of the weekend and Yeager had his worst 60' of the weekend, so it looks like God was keeping an eye out! Frank could have hit the wall head on if he didn't come in contact with Yeager.

this is kinda related but off topic..
will your insurance pay for something like this?
if I take my simple toyota corolla over to the track and wreck it... will they deny the claim?
if I want to go get a time slip for my truck, and I wreck will they cover it..
I have the best coverages... but is there anything for track insurance?
or is it a risk you take to get a time slip?

Most of the time insurance explicitly states that accidents at a race event is not covered.
Some HPDA's try to still get insurance coverage for their members by not having the events timed (and hence a driver education thing), but insurance companies repsonses to that are mixed.
There is explicit race insurance. It isn't cheap.
