Just interested to see if anyone has seen an L with a topper/cap. Sounds insane I know but it would make travelling with the Golden Retriever (not my girlfriend) a little easier. Haven't purchased a Lightning yet but can't wait.

Wow, you must be lucky! My Golden Retriever "Ginger" is so spoiled she will only ride in the cab with me! The hair is difficult to clean up but she makes driving around fun. As for the topper do whatever you want, the worst you will get is criticism from some people. Most will be from people who wish they could afford a Lightning!

Coleman makes a pop-up tent that you could get. Be sure to get the tailgate option with the butane stove and cutting board.

 

I think those big, white bedrail-mounted tool boxes would be more useful. They also look really boss.

You can't let you dog cruise in the back of the truck, thats mean. How's he going to hold on when you lauching the truck. get a seat cover and put him in the passenger seat. Thats what I do, They love going really fast down the streets. the hair and smells nasty though.

Dude, get a retrax cover. It retracts so you can just slid it back and throw your dog in the back, convertable style. My dog loves it. I also put a budrug down for his ultimate enjoyment and to stop him from slidding around. Retrax are made in North Dekota so they are strong enought to support lots of snow during the winter!!
