That's funny. I had to go read about it. I liked the one about the Cobra taking the trucks in the twisties. Which is there a better chance of :
A) Tooling around in your L on a peaceful drive in the twisties, and meeting up with a Cobra?
B) Driving your Cobra in your favorite town from signal to signal, and meeting up with an L ? Heeheeheehee

I think it's normal. Anytime I've raced a 5.0 Mustang/4.6 Mustang or 4.6 Cobra...the other driver has been very polite. Thumbs up all the time.
While I've yet to lose to one, that is just luck on my part.
What I find interesting on this board (this doesn't apply to those of you who have posted above) is that many L owners actually think that the truck is invincible. That is so foolish, I just laugh. Maybe they just don't run into clean, FAST Mustangs/F-bodies/Vettes/etc...I don't know.
Maybe no one knows how to drive a stick anymore. 
Nevertheless...my Cobra ran 13.88 @ 102mph stock. Same track, like conditions, my Lightning ran 13.95 @ 100mph. 1/8 mile the L was ahead slightly. This isn't a completely fair assessment, as neither vehicle was stock for more than 800 miles. So, I didn't get a lot of track time with them in stock condition.

I'm "Brian99" over there on that thread, and have been trying to offer the other side of the coin (L stats).
The real funny part is not what's said in the debate but that the debate EVEN EXISTS at all between a car and a truck. Right there lies the L's "amazingness" IMO.
