Post Just got a price quote on an 01 L

Just went and got a price quote on an 01 L. Dealer quoted me $28,792 and that is everything but TTL. With TTL I'm looking at about $30,500~. This price is with the X-Plan. Any1 else get one on the X? If so, what did you get price wise? Going to order this weekend or next. Dealer says that he is having 2 L's built next week.
Later,
Roger

Your price sounds almost as good as an A-plan price; I'd jump on it.

I was just out at the local dealership, (Thomason Ford of Beaverton). They had a 2001 White Lightning on the front line. The MSRP on it was $32,460.
There was an additional sticker on the window that said "additional dealer markup $5,000!!!! For a grand total of $37,460.

Ouch

z96,

I'd be all over that like white on rice, or stains on a matress, or, well, you get the idea! Seriously that is a great deal. If you want a Lightning you have no excuses now!

$5000 over invoice would hurt!! This price they gave me is a little over $3800 off of sticker, so I'll probably be ordering this weekend.

Great price. Get on the sales rep like a ho-bo on a ham sandwich and finalize the deal before they up the price.

Hey LightFoot,
You gotta love ole Scott Thomason. Tried to buy my 00 from them. They wanted the same deal MSRP + 5k. Told the to get bent. Bought it for invoice plus just a little from Suburban out in Sandy.
