What is the dimensions on the cut out for the exhaust in the ground effects?
How far is the cut out from the rear wheel?
What is the diameter of the exhaust tips?

2 1/2"

I have heard guys changing to three to get a deeper, louder tone but lost back pressure which lost torque

The tailpipes are 2.5", however the tips are 3". Just replaced mine with Stainless tips. The back part of the cutout is 2.5" forward of the wheel well and approximately 12" long.

I just had a thought, buy the plastic piece and just that one peice that has the cut out for the exhaust. Then have your exhaust put in place and then when you have the money buy the other 7 pieces of the ground effects. This is the way that im going to do it. I also had an idea. It probably won't fly with most lightning owners but....Get one of you lightning friends to let you borrow just that one piece of ground effects and bolt it to you truck for the day. Have you exhaust bent to go out the hold and then put the ground effects piece back on the real lightning.
