Cool L vs. Diablo

Yesterday it was sunny and warm here, as usual I was out driven the L around. I looked in my rear view mirror and noticed a yellow car gettin off the interstate a ways behind me, at first I thought it was a Acura NSX. I slowed down and as it got closer I could tell what it was. A brand new yellow Lamb. Diablo, I bout crapped me pants. The guy was drivin very slow in the right lane, I was in the left so i slowed down to let him pass so I could get a look at this hunk of expensive metal. The speed limit is 45 and this guys doin 35, i slowed down even more, he would not pass me, as I would slow down he would slow enough to stay behind me. I thought, come on i gotta run a Diablo, even though i would have gotten spanked like a red headed step child. Just to say I raced it would be a great story in itself, but the guy wasn't willing to play, he soon turned off and left me disappointed. Maybe he knew what a SVT F-150 was a didnt want to see what they had. IT was a sweet car though, had to share this with u guys and gals.

Sweet rides. Driven one 180mph+ a couple of times. Not mine. Very generous owner.

Yeah, those things are nice looking.

I have had my fun, or should I say tease? I caught a light with one at the intersection of Las Vegas BLVD and Tropicana. We both had pole position. Well, he didn't bite but in my mind, he was scared.

Ohwell, I lined up with a few Vipers down there, and none wanted to race either. Never thought I'd race one up here. A little bird tells me there will be a Diablo in town up here...And I am being serious.

Saw a few Countach's up there when I was with Uncle Sam in the early 80's. Some bad *** hot rods come out of the wood work up there in the summer.
