I've done an extensive search on this subject and my question still has not been answered. Which hole is to be used when you want to get the 2" drop. My shackles came with two sets of holes. I used the outer most hole (the one farthest away from the floor when installed). I don't remember what the measurement from the floor to the fender well was stock but now it measures about 33" with the new shackles. Will using the next set of holes (closer to the leaf springs) lower the rear more?

 

You will get the full drop by using the furthest attachment points. Mine looked a tad low for my taste so I used the set closest to the hanger.

 

KIHMO:
you say your on the outer hole, farthest from the floor. That will give you the most drop. By moving it to the next hole toward the hanger would raise you truck back up. If you want it lower than that you can do a complete lowering kit. I did the BellTech 3/4 and I really like it.. Good luck....Bill

If you was asking me on the hanger install, I did it myself, so it only cost me most of a weekend. I did the ram air and the drop together...Bill
