Smile Dog Learns New Trick

I'm sure this isn't new to some of you detail artist, but yesterday after washing my truck I took compressed air and blew out all the cracks and crevices . I've had a small compressor in the garage for years but never used it for this before. Man this works great! Couldn't believe how much water was left hiding on the truck. Put a towel ahead of the air and blew the water right into it. No more chasing drips and driving the truck around the block trying to shake the leftover water out of it. Honeycomb grill was a piece of cake too. Anyway for those of you that do this why didn't ya tell me about it years ago, for those that don't, try it you will love it.

I did this a few weeks ago and when I put it around the fog lights all kind of dirt and crap came flying out. It also works good on the interior for getting dust out in places you can't reach and hard spots to get to under the hood.

I'm with Fender Head. The leaf blowerworks really well and its funny to see people look at you at the car wash when you whip it out.

It's not a good idea to use high pressure water or air if you like your paint job. Both will scratch when it drives the sharp edges of grit and dirt out. Leaf blower does work good BTW.
