******* lid lock busted, looking for a part.

the locks on my ******* cover is busted. well the lock works but both of the latches the slide under the backet to hold it in place rusted and cracked off. They want $60 for new locks. Does anyone know where i can get a new latch. You can dissamble the lock so i can definitly replace that part. If not I am going to try and make one before shelling out the cash. thanks for any help.

Make them Tom. Get some thin metal, cut, bend to off set, drill and install. When the lid is closed, there shouldn`t be any tension against the pieces that broke. I still gotta see this cover on your truck. Sal said it looks real good.

I shaved my ******** lid of everything on the top and rear. The latches and keys are brand new, never used.

FREE to a good home... email me.

Yes ******* makes a couple of different models for the F150. If you are going to buy I would look into Snugtop first. ******* quality is not that great. They are better than ARE but that's not saying much.

I got rid of my ******* cover because it was so poor quality and replaced it with a used Innovation, but those are getting hard to come by nowdays.
