i went to the track again tonight to test my new powercooler and the 01 mass air again. to my dismay the truck went in the high 12.30's all night long! i had to dial in for a bracket race and i dialed in @ a 12.55 thinking it might slow down a bit due to the enginge being hot. so i put in a fresh bag of ice in the cooler and moved down the stageing lanes. i had to race a farmer type pickup running high 16's(no disrespect intended!) it seemed like forever waiting for my last yellow light. i went by him so fast i hit the brakes HARD and nosed dived across the finish line. to my dismay his win light came on! i got my ticket and it was bitter sweet! i ran a 12.37 @ 107 i scrubbed off atleast 2 mph maybe 3 on that run! i was running 109 all night...i'm very pleased with how its comming together i truly believe 12.0's are possible with my race program! i'll keep ya posted! Nice job JL. I really must get down to Cecil with you guys sometime. It's just kinda hard to schedule a night out with the family stuff going on. It's good you got your runs in because I don't live too far from you and the forcast I heard a few minutes ago on channel 8 said there is a possibility of 8 to 14 inches of snow coming our way starting tomorrow. I guess it's time to cover the L and gas up the snowmobile.

Also, did you install the new throttle body as well or just use the 01 mass air w/chip?

I was using the 01 meter with the stock throttle body. i do plan on installing the throttle body as soon as i can get one (hint) we will be selling the 01 meters and boots. which will come with a FREE program just for the 01 meter. just e-mail me for details..JL

Great job JL, wish I was there. I just love how everyone here keeps tracks of out times I am quite sure you'll run quicker than me without the Nitrous, Im running the same set-up as last season. Looking forward to seeing your trucl LAUNCH HARD with that convertor LOL...
All I need now is the 15 inch wheels from TOPSPEED and I am ready to go. I am planning a Satueday test & tune at Cecil in 2 weeks. And the nitrous system is going in also for that day

 

I think we need to bring back those "Keep on Truckin' decals from the 70's...BOOGIE DOWN DUDE..WOW...high 11's soon.. I know alot of ls1.com puke..will just love us
