That sucks TLF DO NOT DRIVE IT (especially if your down on oil pressure and up on oil temp)

Of course you want to do the obvious and check the oil to make sure there is no water in it, and check the water to make sure there is no oil in it. (is either over filled, foamy, etc...)

Pull the oil filter and drain plug, drain it all out in a clean pan, examine it well (maybe save it to show to Jim), and then if you restart it and get the same results shut it off immediately and make arrangements to flat bed it to JDM
(I guess ???)

Man that sucks %$(&@$^%(@$ sorry to hear it and I truly hope it's something simple

'ROB I went back out into my garage started it up oil light is out but check but [service engine soon light is on.] water temp is normal oil is full on stick i was jus driving normal about 30 miles an hour when it started acting up.motor never did get hot i was just a mile from home. I just changed oil last week and when i started it up it seemed to idle alright just now i am on 94 octane tune now. i would like redo my statement i made mabey engine was not trying to freeze up this is and has been a top notch motor. I will find out monday what could be wrong weather has been hot still running 5-20 motor oil. IN Dash oil pressure gauge did not show a drop in oil pressure but my electric autometer gauge did oil temp was about 260 degrees. Monday i will clear service engine soon i will find what is wrong. thanks ROB your input tom

Do you have a stock oil filtering system or an add on? (ie; remote filter mounts, series filters) If OEM,.. correct filter installed (physical filter & Box PN match?)

You could have simply gotten a bad oil filter, the anti drainback or whatever could be fakakta, I would swap it out with a fresh filter just to make sure.

I would still get it checked out. Re-setting the computer isn't going to correct any of the conditions you mentioned above except for maybe the CEL. The oil pump is mechanical. From what you're describing (oil too hot / low oil pressure) it sounds like your pump is either on it's way out or gone already. You definitely shouldn't drive it until you figure out what the issue is.

I agree, while a oil pump is a pain in the buttttt to replace, replacing a engine is way more expensive.
