If you drop the truck 2 inches in the rear. With the drop shackles. and the stock shocks are compressed ane will wear out quicker as posted in the other post. What shocks do you need? Does any one have any info they can post. I am droping my rear this week and need so good info.

I never had an issue with just the shackles. It was when I also installed the hangers that I got concerned. I picked up 2 to 2-1/2" with them.

The shackles themselves will only lower the truck 1 to 1-1/2" on the lowest setting. Probably not enough to worry about. Most people are running stock shocks with the shackles...
