alright so i installed the FTVB in my lightning today and its a pretty firm shift however at WOT the tires dont chirp while shifting gears? let me know how your guys' performs.. oh and also, my shift is a lot firmer from 2nd to 3rd gear then it is from 1st to 2nd gear. is that normal?

 

Need to know your Mods and Power Level before we can give you an accurate answer ??? But in a nut shell yes you should be chirping second and yes the 2-3 shift is sometimes reported stiffer than the 1-2 shift by others too.


Can you say about 150ft of tire ripping tire smoking fun between the shifts

(ok I confess I have a BTS Transmission and it's Da Schitt BUT my other two L's had FTVB's and gave me a simular tire ripping fun between the shifts)

Remember your power level does play a part...

 

I found it took about 500 miles for mine to function more to my liking. Yes, the 2-3 shift was harder and it took awhile for the truck to learn how I was driving it differently.
