Cool 4 Fat Tires

That is what the postal service wrote on the "we missed you" sticky on my door. I got a great deal from Tireman on these. I have only 8300 miles on my truck now, but these will come in handy in a few months. BTW, has has a bunch in stock. And no, I have no affiliation with him or his company.

Question

What kind of tires are they? And how do you get 8300 miles out of a set of tires?

Cool

alphadoggy,

They are the stock tires--Goodyear 295/45/ZR18 F1 GS. I have tried to limit my tire spinning b/c of the price of these damn things. Plus I just drive it to work and back mostly.

'00BlackLightning,

He is still selling them for $170 a tire, plus shipping. It cost me under $730 to get them delivered from NC to AR. He said he has gotten a bunch of them, and got a killer deal, so he is passing along. Call 919-832-6400 and ask for Andrew.

Question

Are these the new F1's that have the new compound?

The UTQG # should be 320 for the older ones and 300 for the slightly stickier 2001's.

Talking

Well, then I got the new ones! UTQG is 300, traction is "AA" on a scale of "A" (stickiest) to "C" (hardest).
