Thumbs up I picked 'er up today

Well.... I took delivery of my Red 01L today.
Boy, she sure looks sweet. I'll get some picks in the next few days. Paint, fit and finish is great. I got rid of a 98 Vette for this and the paint and quality of the L seems superior to the Vette. I've always thought that Ford, in general, had a more quality product than Chebby. No burn outs yet. I'm trying like hell to keep my foot outta it for a while. It's been a long fruitful wait....

Congratulations!! just keep in mind, they are tight for a while, and any sluggishness in shifting and performance you feel (compared to your other rides) can be taken care of with a chip easily. the difference is incredible. my trucks pedal feels more like a trigger than something progressive. ENJOY

Thumbs up

Congrats!!

I feel your pain on the waiting issue. And I know what you mean about trying to stay out of the throttle... I am almost past 600 miles and it's extremely hard...

Have fun!

Congrats; I know the feeling...I've had mine for a week and the weather has not cooperated (Only 325 miles). I'm a weak person; I've run mine up to about 4000 rpm a couple of times. Screw it; from what I can tell alot of the old break-in rules don't really apply to the new cars. Different metallurgy these days.
