Question

Enjoy !

Are you feeling the engine loosening up at all ?

I had my first indication that this was no ordinary vehicle at around 500 km. It kept getting more and more powerful, and the exhaust note deepened a little.

I know where there's a brand new silver '00. It's been sitting there for months and had a sad look on its grill as I parked in front of it with my black L at the dealership. It really needs an owner, and that silver is quickly growing on me. It can be dusty and still look awesome, unlike my black. Plus, there's something "racy" about it. Anyway, the build quality of that truck is better than mine. VERY straight panels. If only I had the money.....

Question

G Force, are you talking about the Silver L at Turnpike Ford? Just wondering, I go to Marshall. I took it for a ride the other day and it seemed to be very sick, the check engine light remained on the entire time i drove it. It had an unusual shake and seemed to have a miss. A guy that I talked to said that he heard a service guy took it out and ble wit up. What a shame, I was considering gettin it.

Puddin,

Hey, someone close to where I live, finally. Yeah, that's the one I'm talking about. I noticed the exhaust tips were pretty black. I had no idea it was having such mechanical problems.

Did I read your post correctly in that a service technician blew it up? Jeez, that's exactly why I won't take mine in unless I have a MAJOR failure of some sort. What a**holes!

My buddy saw them pull a red one off the transporter last summer and the sales guy jumped in, and floored it in Park so the S/C would whine!! My buddy said a whitish-blue cloud of smoke came out the pipes. Made me sick for somebody who bought it.

Anyway, that silver one could be bought cheaply. And a new crate motor (warranty of course) would make that truck a nice ride.
