I just wanted to say hello to all

I also have a question for you Lightning owners...

Is it safe for the engine to rev to at least 6000 RPM if the rev limiter is removed?

Welcome John! And to answer your question, it's not something I would recommend as habit, but mine accidently hit 6k+ one day while doing a G-Tech run. I have no idea how or why this happened - I thought the rev limiter would eventually kick in if I didn't catch it in time while in 1st gear. It never happened and I looked down and about sh*t when I saw ~6,100. So, I don't do hp measurements in 1st gear anymore.

Talking

My chip shifts at 5500 and it goes over toward 6000 in the shift. I don't know how accurate our tachs are at that point but mine hasn't blown up yet and I've got 32K on it and race every week.

Cool

I see 6K all the time momentarily during up-shifts, but I wouldn't recommend continuous operation at that speed.
