PSP dyno numbers

Had my truck dyno tuned by Sal at PSP today, had to get it in before he moves to FL! I had one of his custom tunes in the truck prior and just put it on the dyno to make sure everything was in check. His tune was almost dead on 1st pull, it was a little rich so he made a few adjustments and I picked up a few HP and a little power all the way across the curve
386 rwhp / 477 rwtq, SAE, i think the temp was 86 and humidity 62, saw 12.5 psi of boost.
Mod are 4lb lower, c&l intake, 12 inch filter, bassani cat back
dyno pull#2
Thanks Sal!!!

Sal having some fun on the test drive

just because it is funny

Nice numbers! Especially considering the heat and humidity.

Are those 20 inch wheels? Does Sal adjust any of the transmission settings?

they are 22's. i believe he does but i did not discuss it with him. i do remember discussing changing tune stuff for the tranny on my last lightning. either way the truck shifts awesome and i am very happy with the tune and how it drives.

Your numbers are even better since you are on 22's.

I was wondering about the tranny. I have heard some L tuners can tweak the tranny and still keep it reliable. I think I would like that better than a VB or line mod.

Call him up, I am sure he can take care of you. My last one ran like an animal after the tune. I wanted this tune to be conservative since he is moving and will not be in my backyard anymore to run to with any issues i might have.

it sucks getting the L tuned in that much heat and humidity. I got mine tuned and the shop was 102 indoors here in SC about 6 weeks ago and it put out 410/490 with the mods below.... and was a little pissed i expected a little more.I plan to mail my new tune to sal and have iot tweaked now that its getting cooler 85-90 degress . and then take it back to the dyno and see what it puts out with out blowing up the engine.

he should be able to pick your numbers up. I made i think 415 with just a 4lb, port, intake, and catback
I wish I could have waited until cooler weather but I did not want to chance missing him!

Nice Tom! I`m glad to see that after all these years I, still make more power than you.

Hey! how`s the bed cover. I can`t tell in the vid. Mine is so great, I have to thank you so much for the great hook up. And as for hook ups, I sent a Heather to you so, hook her up with a Mortgage. Your the best bro. How is Sal, good? I just got the new **** movie that he made. I gotta say, I was impressed as well as a bit intimidated.

the bed cover came out sick, the body shop did a killer job on the paint and it really sets off the truck. I still have to hook up the brake light. Glad the cover worked out for you! Yeah the pimp looked good, ready for his gstring and working on his tan in sunny fl
need to wax the truck and then i will post up some pics of it.

You made that much horsepower/torque hot, & drove it here heatsoaked from the drive, which didn't help, but that doesn't mean that thats all the HP/TQ you have, it just means that with that much heat, thats probably the lowest number you'll ever see, had the truck had been left overnight as requested we could have done our cold startup to check the tune & it would have made much more power the next morning, seeing its in the 80's today it would make a higher "number" with the same tune. The power is there it just doesn't show up on a heat soaked motor when its 100+ degrees in any shop no matter who tunes it....That is a great tune we put in, way better than the one you had in it...
