I am curious how many people here have actually ordered the pulley and recieved it yet?

Seems like about 75 people have ordered them from the post on svtperformance.com board. Also a msg(dated 2-15-01) stated, "The first batch was mailed out last week."), and I haven't heard that anyone has received them yet. Has anyone got theirs from the batch of pulleys that were sent out the week before the 15th yet?

No pulley yet. The way I count it I'm #38 on the GP list. I'm apparently not in the first shipment of 25 because nothing has arrived at my door. My name is not on the list of the second 25 shipped either. All I was told is Jim's handling the shipments. That's all I know about the situation. It's out of my hands.

No news! No pulley! They have had my money for 60 days. I'm about to run out of patience. Anyone have any good news on this because I still want the pulley.

 

GP list? What GP list? I don't see anything in the GP section on pulleys. Been trying for weeks to order a single blade TB and pulley, but damned if I can find a site with prices or ordering information. Who the hell do you have to know to buy this stuff?

Well guys I got good news and bad news about it. I called and spoke with Jim at JDM for around 30 min this morning. First off he was an awesome guy to talk with. He said this has been nothing short of a nightmare cause of reoccuring production problems, all of which couldnt be helped unless there were each hand made. Some of the machine work was off and being the son of a long time machinist, I understood exactly what we was speaking about.
Tonight he is going to post a message for sure on SVTPerforamce about the problems and his decision about the delays. I am satisifed with the conversation I had with him and will wait patiently for my pulley to be made perfect by Jim.

Hello fellow lightning brothers & sisters! just thought i would let you know that i know jim & JDM personaly and you WILL get the pullies. unfortunatly when making NEW products things like this do happen..however you will be recieving pullies as soon as the problem has been corrected.he's just making sure there 100% before they go out the door! hope this helps a little... I talked to Jim two days ago about the pulleys. Very nice guy.

Don't get your panties in an uproar Will. If you don't want to wait, your choice. Do you want to risk a potential problem or have it right the first time? Wait, Jim wouldn't sell them any other way but correct.

Relax.....

 

So is the first batch that already went out the week before the 15th bad?

 

Haven't got mine, but thats what it take to have the best right. don't worry guys they'll be hear soon and then it will be all worth it. I hope so anyway.
