Problems with Innercooler?

I went to finish up my Dyno today, but the temperature of the innercooler was reading @ 144 Deg.. in Idle. To hot... Tech said that every time he tried to run it, the computer would take timing due to the temperature difference, and hence blow the run. We stopped, not wanting to do any damage to anything. The water is flowing nicely through the bottle, and the pump turns on... obviously. What could keep the temperature so high? Bad pump? even though it is still flowing? Clogged hoses? Bad relay? I don't have an owners manual, so I could not find any relays or fuses..

Any thoughts?

I did a search first.. but nothing as specific as I needed it.

Not sure what cams are in your build, but some big cams allow temps to rise at idle speeds.
You need a significant flow of air over the heat exchanger to rid the system of heat. There are lots of tricks to cool the system down, but cool down time is the cheapest way out. Takes mine about 2 hrs to drop temps down at the track with a fan blowing over the blower, one on the HE, and the IC pump running.

So what you are saying is KB is keeping it so hot? and not another issue???

I keep getting backfire when i get on it due to the change in timing..
