Rear-End #'s ???

So i checked out my rear-end and the tag on it says. L 73 975 1C13

If I am correct the 73 =3.73 gears
-the 975= the 9.75 rear-end
and what ever the hell the rest means.

Anybody who as any knowledge, input would be great.. THX

Quick low-down. Busted the axle on the truck. Go a new one installed and the truck does not run the same. Truck use to to accel like a bastard and chip second. Now it does not.

What should I do?

THE differential you speak of could be a 355 you had installed or the differential has not been adjusted to specks i believe should be between 9000 and 13000th i am sure you had your tolorence checked before you installed it. if you did not this is important that you do
