Cool

HI!... A 8.00E.T in the 1/8 mile would be a 12.48E.T in the 1/4.

This is a good chart :

http://www.geocities.com/allstangs/Page.htm

At a Lightnings stock weight of around 4700LBS, it would need 477RWH.P to run a 12.48E.T in the 1/4 mile. But there is exceptions to this though, converter, weather, 60FT time etc...... Just a estimate with the math provided.

YOu guys should know that you cant base a time without a mph. What was the mph?

I've ran 8.0 & 8.1's with 1/4 of 12.1-12.3 range but my mph was 88-89. 60ft 1.8-1.9

This is not a good chart. Are the times based on a 4800lb truck? Is it based on aerodynamics of a brick? Is it based on a semi or a go kart?

Cool

HI!... Well I have been using this chart for years and it has been dead nuts on all the time on over 20 vehicles.........................

Just in case you "MISSED" it this is what it says at the top of the chart in the link I posted........

The following table can be used to estimate what your car would run in the quarter-mile based on your 1/8-mile elapsed time. This table is useful for those of you who run on an 1/8-mile track and would like to know what this time equates to in the 1/4-mile. NOTE: Please keep in mind that this table is only an estimate of what your 1/4-mile time would be. Different cars with different modifications, such as different rear end gears, will react differently. Your car may be a little quicker than this table shows, or a little slower. Again, this table is not exact, but simply a tool for estimating.
