Received my 4 way PSP reburned chip with the new street program. The severe knock at WOT is completely gone, but I get slight knocking at low rpm cruise and then hammer to WOT. It knocks just before it downshifts. I added octane boost to the tank and it is almost gone, but still some slight knock is present. Here in Phoenix we can only get 92 octane and the fuel contains 10-15% MTBE and then in the summer months our fuel will contain 10% ethanol.

Anyone else have the same problem?

 

Peter, mines like "butta", but i use Shell 93 and Chevron 94. you might want to go with 2 street programs, if you think you are stuck with seasonal fuels.

I have Sal's latest 4-way and no ping. I can only get 92 here also. No MTBE though. I had one program done as stock in case I get a bad load of fuel. As of yet no ping and runs hard.
