New Lightning Owner
I've been reading this board for some time and I finally get to participate as a Lightning owner. I pick up my 01 Black Beauty tomorrow up in Blair, NE. I have to drive 3.5 hours to get an X plan....I think that is worth saving almost $5000.
I'm sure I'll be like a kid on Xmas eve and will not sleep.

I cant believe they,re letting you buy it on the X plan!!! All the svt dealers in my area will not let you buy a Lightning on the X plan! I called ford about it and they say its up to the dealer as to participation in the X plan. Got yourself a good dealership there. Hell, most places here are selling ABOVE msrp! Congrats on your new Bolt.....Im envious! Now go spank some f-bodies!!

Thanks for everyone's kudos. I am at home today with a sick kid or else I would not be on top of this board. Use the internet all the time at work but never for personal stuff. Have lots of mods already lined up so I can appreciate GalaxyEng's comment. That is one of the reasons I bought this thing. Have a deposit down on an '02 Z06. Don't know if I will keep it or not. From everything I've heard on this board; I think I will go spank some LS6s and forget the Z06.
