ICE liquid clay bar is JUNK!!

So i tried out the new liquid clay bar from turtle wax, as i'm sure most of you know that using a real clay bar is a PIA!!

i washed the truck as it says to do, left it wet, and applied the clay bar. I washed it off right away and continued on. When the truck started to dry i noticed a white film over my entire truck!! it gets everywhere, in cracks and area that are heard to reach.
I had to re-wash my entire truck again to get rid of it, although wiping will make it go away...but i didn't want a dry cloth all over my truck.

I just wrote an e-mail to turtle wax to see what they have to say about there shytt product...i hope they get back to me soon.

Just a heads up guys!!

Well, are you sure you followed the directions 100% correctly? Regular clay bar isn't really a pain in the ***, I clay as I wash using the car soap and I get it done fairly quickly. So I wash, clay, and final rinse all in one step. And lastly, there's a care and detailing section here for these topics.

you always have to wash your car after you clay, even with regular clay there will be a film.
however people have been raving about this ICE stuff, I bought it and thought it sucked. I did one 1/4 panel and said F it.

I just use the regular clay bar. Sometimes there no substitution for the real thing.

Liquid and Claybar do not even belong in the same sentence.

(That is unless you are talking about the "lube" of your choice for the claying. LOL)

Never tried ICE, but Clay Magic is pretty good and a good bit less than Meg's Quick Clay.

a, i followed directions 100%...i guess they forgot to add to wash your vehicle after you clay bar it.

I'll have to try it again (and wash after) just to see how well it really works.
