I heard that there was a recall for the F series for various reasons. Anyone know anything about this?

 

I vaguely remember reading sumthin a day or two ago about F series and a line of cars were recalled for something to do with the fuel (leak?)

** Ford Motor Co. (F: 28.00, unchanged) said on Friday it was recalling more
than 710,000 of its popular pickup trucks and Mercury brand minivans because
of possible problems with their fuel systems that could result in fire. The
world's No. 2 automaker said the recall involved 435,426 Mercury Villager
minivans made between November 1991 and June 1998 and 275,000 of its
F-Series trucks manufactured from December 1992 until August 1993. Ford said
the recall of the Villagers was prompted by potential premature aging of a
fuel pipe vent hose that could cause it to crack and leak. The recall of the
F-150, F-250 and F-350 pickups involves models equipped with gasoline
engines and dual fuel tanks and stemmed from problems with a fuel pressure
regulator. In both cases, there was a potential for fuel leakage and
possible vehicle fire. But a Ford spokesman said there had been no reports
of accidents or injuries involving any of the recalled vehicles.
