Add one more to your "Texas" list.

As for those of y'all who don't know what Patron is, go out and buy a bottle of the gold (gold ribbon around neck of bottle). Throw some in a shaker with ice, strain in your favorite glass, and ENJOY! Its gotta be one of my favorite drinks. Just PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE don't taint it with salt and lime!

DUCK

I think Steve made that response because a year ago, he was a little ticked and came down on a vendor... I won't mention names...

Anyway, I supported the vendors view that he was only answering questions about his product, but now in retrospect I think I see Steve's point of view... I did then too... I was just too stubborn to admit it.

Any way, this site is an INVALUABLE font of info and advice, and I would support Steve in anyhting he would ask of the members of the site.

Steve-

I hope our tiff is forgotten, as I have forgotten it, until I read this post...

Steve, here's one more Texan (a native even) that is on your side. I enjoy this board and if I have to pay I don't mind. I've spent over $1800.00 dollars on my truck in the last year and every dollar of the stuff I learned about on this board.

Cool

This site is invaluable to me. Never have I found another site that enables me to lighten my wallet so expeditiously. I would be very happy to contribute a reasonable annual fee to defray Steve's expenses.

Better sit down Steve. There are at least two Texans who agree with your position on this.

Can't drink beer, stomach problems.

I wouldn't be opposed to a bottle of Patron though...don't ask how my stomach works!

My L's about two or three days away and I'm set to put about $2500 worth the stuff on it right away. All those products I learned about here, though, not necessarily from the vendor...

Steve, this is easy. You have a good following here so this one could be easy to put in place: "We have 'approved vendors' who have made a modest contribution. We ask that you only buy from the 'approved vendors'." If a guy's getting any business at all he'll not risk being left out - you'll get your contributions. Approved Vendors.

If it weren't for your site Steve, I'd have more time to study. Business is business though. I understand where you are coming from. Its like a mall. And us members are patrons.

Well, gonna go to another bar...
