Ok heres the scoop on the tires?
As some of you know I just put some BFgoodrich G-force T/A KD's on my L. I had them installed last night and I have tried them out in the front and back. The cornering while in the front has improved incredibly, while in the back they stick to the road like no other. From a stop in first gear, I can just open it wide up and only get a baby little tiny spin, nothing that a little burnout wouldn't help fix at the track. When crusing around 30 and then WOT, the truck will stick and go awesome with these. I love the performance of the tire so far and there really great. I can't tell if the road noise has picked up at all, and the truck seems to handle the bumps in the road just asswell with my 3/3 drop kit.
Here's the thing though, I'm not totally sure of the appearence it gave the truck. The tires are allot thinner and I only have two on there for the time being, and when compared to stock its weird at first. The more and more I look at them though they start to get better and better looking to me. I personally think that if this tire was in a 295/45yr18 or a 295/35yr20 they would look the best. I think it will just take time to get used too.
On another note, NTB had the same tire for $343.00. thats $4.00 cheaper, plus from the rack you got shipping. So I could have saved 20 bucks a tire. They got four more in stock though, so the back will need some now. Trying to burn off the F1's now, HEHEHEHE.
If your a die hard autocrosser that has the place and room to drive the truck it should be, I would no doubt get these tires for it. 200 tread wear on them also, so there better then most Max performance tires, and stickier.
