Question Calling Brimstone

Hey Brimstone,

I just saw a picture of what I assume is your truck and your upper and lower grilles look awesome. I'm working on a project that requires either new grilles, or that I cut out each of the honeycomb hex's on the ends of the lower grille (not a project I look forward to). Since your grilles look so bada$$, thought I'd ask what/where/how much?

TIA,
-W

Wheels,

I got the grilles from Roger on the F-150 Online Store. They are Trenz billet grilles, they come powdercoated black from Trenz but I think you have to special request it.

I don't remember the cost, that just shows how much money I've spent on this truck already, but I think around $400.

Thanks,

Grilles and powdercoat are great quality. Rivets that came with grilles were cheap, but you can just buy better ones yourself. Install was a challenge for someone like me. Now if I could do it again it would have been much better and quicker. If I were to show my vehicle I would have to buy new front surround/bottom bumper and do the install better.

The grill is cool, now I have to save up for the lower grill. It was either the lower grill, or a set of headers for my 66 chevy. Can you believe that no auto parts store in Anchorage carries universal Chevy Big Block Hugger Headers?!?!?! Hears a picture of what I requested. Went around town with this picture in hand like it was a kidnapped kid. They will be here Monday.

Well, time to act my age and hit up some bars...

Thumbs up

Hey Clonetek,

That's a great how-to! Thanks. I'm sure it will save me a bunch of time and hopefully I won't have to tell the grille to "FIT DAMMIT" and risk being struck.

Thanks,
W
