Post Man, 01 L's went up $2,435 on sticker

Ford is catching on to the value of the 01's and are showing it on the sticker of $32,835. That's about a 7.5 % jump.

Question

Are you adding the delivery?

It went like this in BC (Canadian yen, I mean, dollar), MSRP:
1999 - 39,900
2000 - 40,900
2001 - 41,100

Cool

Well, somebody has to pay for all those damned intercoolers.

BB, I'd just about bet that you are including the destination charge in your total. Sticker price on my 2000 was $30,710, but with shipping it was $31,375. This amounts to about a 4.7% increase, not all that bad when you consider the mods you DON'T have to make to the '01s - driveshaft, gears, etc.

Invoice: $28,223

MSRP:
31,745

TMV:
$32,001 Effective until 2/16/2001

Destination Charge: $715

Gas Guzzler Tax: N/A

Dealer Hold Back:
3% of the Total MSRP

This is what the dealer I'm going through is charging me.
Kind of sickening when you concider that they are making 4500.00 on this deal just for being the middle man.

Yeah, I goofed on the price. I'm looking at my window sticker that reads:

$30,710 vehicle price
$690 destination

Total
$31,400

So, it looks like the 01's went up about $1,400 if the $32,805 the dealer told me was with destination included.

Cool

You guys kill me. When I talk about sticker price I'm always talking about the last line which is the total cost.

A 2000L was 31,375 or 31,400 depending on when it was built. At the dealership I bought from they had one at 31,375 and three at 31,400. When I asked what the difference was they told me the build date.

Do you know of anyone who did not pay destination charges? Maybe someone at the plant. I bought mine well below stricker price but that starting point was 31,400.
