Who else in Tx. has ordered a new Lightning and what is its status. Mine has been put in a delay status since Jan.18. My dealer says its just because there are so many orders in Tx. Then I read here there are new Lightnings sitting in show rooms up north and think whats the deal? I put money down last Sept. Ive learned alot of things from this site which will help with mods when I do get a L. Thanks for all the info.

Mark John, Still waiting on mine. Mine is supposed to be here sometime in March. At this point the wait isn't bothering me as much (6 months and counting). Someone mentioned Nichols Ford in FW had a couple coming in. I was there yesterday and didn't see anything except a some moron who bought lightning badges and the front end clip and stuck them on his extended cab. This was for sale. Also a 2000 red lightning was on the lot with a huge (1/2 dollar size) ding on the driver's side door. They were till selling it for $31,995... By the way, I ordered mine in Dallas.

I live right outside of Dallas, and ordered my truck in July 00. It was built on 1/10, but sat at the plant until 2/6!!! Oh well, it's finally moving again and I hope to get it this week. We'll see...
