Question

Since some of you guys have done your own install. How difficult is the job? All you have to do is unbolt the old one and bolt in the new one?

Thanks
Andy

Cool

99 SVT BOLT -

It's a very simple install. The U-bolts are already installed on the new setup. You literally take four bolts out of the flange on the back end of the driveshaft, slide the shaft out of the tranny (no bolts), slide the new driveshaft into the tranny and bolt the same four bolts back up to the new driveshaft on the rear end. Very simple, you use one 12-point 12mm socket or wrench (I used both).

Thumbs up

I would also like info too if it's not too late. Very interested.

Also, was wondering if anyone is installing a driveshaft loop while you're swapping out the driveshaft??
