Question Need A/C line pressures.....

I have the gauges, but before adding any Freon I would like to know the actual factory line pressures of a properly working, full A/C system in our trucks. I searched the archives, and didn't see it anywhere.

Anybody have this info?

Thanks.

High side or low side? I'm assuming you mean low side and if I recall just fill her up to 35 or so. Your gauge should have a green arc

I have both gauges (not the colored ones sold at the auto parts). I'm asking for both because I like to make sure the high side is in check when the low side is where you want it to be. I'd rather not guess......

Thanks.

Well the high side is only a valid measurement at the moment the compressor shuts off (and it will shut off when it gets to certain pressure.

Have you done any other AC work? I can dig out the specs (I think it's in the shop manual) but I just haven't bothered before.

These are from a ford service cd. You need to know what the ambient temp is.Discharge is high side and suction is low side.
