Red face 99 Lightning For Sale

NOT MINE!!!!! Well, maybe if the price is right

In my travels to the south side of Indy to hunt down parts for the intake/pcv tube fix, I stumbled across a Red 99 L at Sharp Ford. Of course I stopped by to investigate and give it a "There there, someone will take care of you."

Observations:
Borla exhaust
ARE bed cover/bed mat
Painted mirrors covers (looked like dookie)
Intercooler resovoir near empty (pointed this out to the "Wanna buy a Lightning today?" salesflunkie)
One new F1 on the right rear. HMMMM
Undercoated with an overshoot on the passenger side ground effect.
Interior marginally clean
Clunk reminance
20,800 miles

Asking 26,500. All in all, not bad.

sneak back up there & leave a note for the buyer to find.

That sure sounds like PBGas's old truck. Outfitted exactly like that with painted mirrors. He suspected that the truck was heading south. He had real problems with that puppy!!!

Guess I could've grabbed the VIN and called SVT to find out the build number huh?

Might just do that....

Yup....that would probably be mine.

STay away....stay very far away from it!

I won't even go into the rest of what is wrong with the truck. I figured it was headed down south.

Oh well....thnx for keeping me informed!

Where did the expression "HEADING SOUTH" originate?

“HEADING SOUTH”
Comes from all the retirement folks heading south when they cant get it up any more. Hoping some of that beach scenery will bring back their performance.

I hope I can hold out longer, till that ultimate fate.
