RTKILLA Stereo question????
Hey I asked you about running a power wire the other day and you said to run it behind the black trim against the firewall, and then push it though the firewall right below the steering column. I can't find the hole you are talking about. Do I have to make the hole? Or should there be one there already? My lightning is a 2000.
Thanks for the help

Does anyone with a 2000 have a good suggestion for where to run the power wire through the firewall? What would be the issues with cutting a small hole in the rubber piece that the steering rack goes though?
Thanks

Sorry It took me so long to reply, I was having my wisdom teeth pulled out. Anyway, There was a hole there when I looked, It was big enough to fit the 4 gauge wire no problem, Maybe like clonetek said, there is no hole on the 2000. I don't see why, but its always a possibility. If there is no hole then just drill one and put a grommet in.

This would be a good place to put it. If you will take the drivers seat out and run the wire under the carpet you don't have to use as much wire, and you will not have to worry about seeing the wire. That is if that is easy to do in the L. I did it in my mustang, and jeep, and it worked fine. Just my thoughts.
