sorry for the link but i have typed this story about 5 times lol. but if you dont want to use the link the whipple destroys the ported eaton i was running. more power everywhere!! And JJ(WMS) is the best person i have ever delt with.

well today i got to enjoy my whippled powered L for about 10 miles lol. we installed the twin 255 fuel pumps this morning which finished the install. this task turned out to be a pain in the *****. one of the fuel lines put up a huge fight. once we got them installed the truck started on the first turn of the key and sounded great. i took the truck around the block just to see how it was running and to see if i had any leaks. nothing lol. so off to the gas station to fill her up and enjoy the truck after two long months. with a full tank of gas it was off to my #1 fun road. the truck is very very strong. i only went to 3/4 throttle since it has not been on the dyno yet. just running the tune jj sent me for the base dyno runs / the whipple just destroys the ported eaton i had. more power everywhere and the whipple hits 10psi as soon as you just push the gas pedal down. WOW! Plus the truck drives better than the day it was stock. great base tune JJ!
Now to the bad part. about 8 miles from my house the truck dies as if i just ran out of gas. full tank and not leaks lol. pull off the road and begin to check everything. i find where the fuel pump fuse is blown. so i replace it with a new one and it blows it. now what wright. so i take a chance and call JJ to atleast leave a message about todays events. But JJ answered the phone WOW on a sunday evening. told him my story and he told me to install a 30 amp to see if that would work. the truck started idled for 30 secs or so i died again. blew the 30 amp fuse. he told me that i had a bad (new) 255 fuel pump. he is sending me two new pumps in the morning to replace these. i can not say enough good things about JJ. he answered his phone on a sunday, talked me through things while i was stuck on the side of the road, and he is sending me out a brand new set of pumps out asap. the best customer service out there. so today had its ups and downs but over all i know the whipple is working :heart: and my truck should be an easy fix.
